An excerpt from the book I'm reading, The Remarkable Women of the Bible by Elizabeth George:
"Embrace motherhood as an occupation--'The most important occupation on the earth for a woman is to be a real mother to her children. It does not have much glory in it; there is a lot of grit and grime. But there is no greater place of ministry, position, or power, than that of a mother.'...'Parenthood is a partnership with God. You are not molding iron nor chiseling marble; you are working with the Creator of the universe in shaping human character and determining destiny.'"
